I really want to get on Xbox live so recently I went out and purchased a wired adsl router, a sitecom DC-202v6 router. However, the instruction manual that comes with it is so basic it is unbelievable. I'll list my components that i have, and how I currently have them set up. If someone could tell me if i need any additional components, or i need to set them up in a different way it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a USB adsl modem hooked up to a usb hub, and the rj11 ethernet cable which comes from the modem is hooked up to an adsl filter( it has a RJ11 ethernet port, and a phone port). My phone is connected to the other port. I have an ethernet cable(RJ45) coming from one of the ethernet ports on the router, which is connected to my network card at the back of my pc.

Now with my limited networking knowledge, by connecting an RJ45 ethernet cable from my 360 to my router, I should be able to connect to Xbox live?

As i don't have another ethernet cable yet, I'm not sure, so if someone could verify this I would greatly appreciate it.

However according to the instruction manual i got with my router, it says I need to connect my adsl modem to my router, which i have not done, but surely the adsl will be re-routed through the network card?
