I bought a psp on Ebay with no power. Kid tried to replace bad board with switch and in doing so destroyed the ribbon cable on the edge. I bought a replacement piece and waiting for it to try it out. The power board is pretty cheap or like other replies stated, they have parts and work something out with them. It might solve all your problems. Ebay psp $50 - ribbon cable $2 - stamp $0.37 - not paying retail - PRICELESS ! :)

Good luck.

Try Ebay or search for psp parts on google. There are alot of online sites to buy doors, cables ect. If I had an extra ribbon I would send it to you. Good luck with it.

Lol found a PSP in the park and took it home ahaha

Does the orange light go on when you charge it? Is the battery connected properly and are you sure it's not damaged in any way.

Before you go spending cash to try and make this thing work or something you should open it ALL up and check that it's internally sound and it's not clearly broken. Check the PSP guides and FAQs on how to open it.

Btw, ur gonna need to buy replacement buttons to be able to switch it on, my guess is its probably bricked and the firmwares screwed, in which case you'll need a new motherboard.

Try charging it with the battery removed also, if the light doesn't go on something maybe wrong with the PSP's power.

Buy a new battery as well.

You could probably do it yourself there's tons of guides on the net about how to replace the mobo or screen, faceplates and so on.

I'd first replace the Mobo and buttons and then see if it works.
