I've been using ConvertXtoDVD, WinAVI, and Nero Vision with FFDShow to convert Divx/Xvid files to DVD. Most of the time they work fine, but occasionally I get movies that play fine in their original .avi format, but end up with slightly jerky video when converted to DVD.

Sometimes switching to a different program and re-converting it solves it, but some movies won't seem to convert properly no matter which of the 3 tools I use.

Does anyone know what could cause this? Is it likely to have anything to do with FFDShow since that's the thing all 3 programs have in common?
