My wife would like a pink psp for her birthday. I have had one for a year now. Originally it was a 1.5 then running DevHook, then upgraded to 3.03 OE-B.

Where are the cheapest places to get hold of them in the UK now? It doesnt have to be pink if it means paying a premium

Where is a good place to get a 2GB memory card from that isn't fake and how much should I expect to pay?

What firmwares can be downgraded and then upgraded to custom firmware?

Also, with the latest custom firmware do you still have to have a UMD in the drive?

So far you can downgrade anything from 3.03 downwards so u would be safe if u bought one new since the new psps are on 2.81 at the moment. The only problem is that to downgrade u will need gta liberty city stories which has a 2.0 firmware update on it. If u do not have the game the highest firmware u can downgrade so far is 2.8.
I got my 2gb mem stick from amazon for relatively cheap (cant remember the price) it is high speed and was cheaper because it was not made specifically for psp. Just format it and u will be able to use it.Lastly u still have to have a umd in the drive with the latest firmwares althogh u can switch off the ability to auto stasrt the game when your psp starts.

60 bucks or so for the 2GB card at target/walmart type places

pink psp, order from a respected online retailer, it should come w/ 3.03 or less and it doesn't matter if it's a TA-082

awww crap, ur a Euro guy, uhm goto Futureshop(i think that's one of ur places)?


Pink is the same prices as the blacks/whites/blues.

the only one that is more pricey is the Camo MGSPO one.

Stay away from Ebay for memory cards, prices have dropped tremendously for these things in stores, just buy it from a store that way your guaranteed not to get a fake.

Every firmware up to 3.03 can CURRENTLY be downgraded, a down grader for newer firmwares will eventually be released (probably very shortly) but is not out as of yet. Be warned for firmwares 2.80-3.03 you will need an unpatched copy of GTA:Liberty City Stories to downgrade.
