Hello everyone, recently my xbox 360 dvd drive broke and i tossed the dvd drive thinking that i can just buy another one and put it in. but i guess that's not the case, because my friend explained the whole thing about flashing and how i need the key. But i was wondering if there is any way possible to get the key out of it now or am I completely screwed.... Thanks

hate to say it...your screwed man.. The dvd drive and motherboard are "married" in that the DVD key has to be identical to the motherboard in order for it to work. Hopefully one day there will be a way to extract the key from the motherboard but not now....sorry dude

You can be screwed or you could put a piece of card board to hold the front of the disc tray up and take it back to walmart and say that it had a system failure
