hi,ive done the update,getting all channels except s*ymovies ones,keeps trying to update and update and update,still no picture.can anyone help? PLEASE.

its just done another update to 470%,then back to 0%.

i am no expert but my box did same change the cable supplier to ex c&w now works fine

ok Iv installed my starview box changed the cable supplier to ex c&w and the emu on and Iv got all my channels (Im ntl/virgin media) but Im puzzeld by a couple of things I was hoping someone could help me out
1) I cant seem to get the filmflex channel (vigins answer to ppv movies)
2) some channels come up with scrambled channel or bad signal but the signal bar is past 4 bars so thats good
am I doing anything wrong or is there something I need to do

you dont get the ppv films no 1 does not even them with the d box.

im not sure to be honest .the prem plus is the only ppv you get but i think you will get the boxing when thats ppv because you do on the d box.

hi im thinking of buying a starview box off ebay for my telewest/now virgin media signal. i was just wondering if this is the best box to buy, and also any other info i need for setting it up. all help much appreciated. thanks.

these seem to be the ones every ones buying. perfect for your t/w signal the box is up and running in minutes all channels there simple set up .

you should have a channel saying prem plus if not just rescan your box again until you get it.

are all your other sports channels on now. if yes then you will have to wait until just befor kick off then try it if its still saying scrambled turn off the emu then turn it back on then you will have the pictures i had to do it on saturday to watch the blue shite.

AS YOUR STARVIEW BOX BEEN OK TODAY IM IN THE LIVERPOOL AREA AND ALL THE SPORTS AND FILMS WENT OFF TODAY GOT THEM BACK ON NOW THOUGH.

i have got the same prb some of my channels scrambled , can any one plx help me i m using TW service and wat exactly do u guyx meant by EMU ? nd wher could I find that option ?

the emu has to be turned on to view the film channels and sports heres what to do press menu on your remote select parental control 0000 then press info on remote and type in 2004 then scroll down to the KEY EMU and turn it on then exit everthing then your movies and everything should be on.
