anyone out there know why dvd movies that are mostly produced by sony cant be copied using any dvd copiers or rippers. movies such as saw 3, the grudge 2, open season,

Sony, along with all the others, are constantly updating/creating new and innovitive ways, in which to confound copying software and their developers. The movies you mention, have all been done...... it did take however, some developers a short time to bypass the new encryptions.

Not true! I've done all three. All can be done with a variety of rippers and programs. Go to the end of the Saw3 thread and read about all the ways it's being done also can be done with programs below:FREE
