i just bought a new motherboard to replace my bricked one.
the battery light turns on but nothing else happens....
could my motherboards battery be dead? and could replacing the battery from my briked motherboard with my new one fix it...
i really cant belive this is happening to me...:(

I think you just connected your motherboard wrong, but thats just what I think cause I never opened up a psp before, only computers.
2.6 > 2.71 = 1.5 - 3.02> MY TA-082 MOBO 1.5> 3.02 OE-A > OE-B > 3.10 OE-A > 3.82 M33
3 Days, I advanced from 2.6 homebrew tetris and commercial UMDs to 2.71 Devhook Emulation to 1.5>3.02 OE-A, Its the golden age of hacking

bought on ebay, so i doubt it....
still doesnt make sense that on boot it does nothing....
even a briked psp would do something

If it was fully bricked you wouldn't even get a green light would you?

im not sre but doesnt the green light come on for about 10 seconds then go off? correct me if im wrong

thats bricked. and yes even with a fully bricked mobo your green light will still come on. you either bought a bricked mobo or you short circuited it installing it. If you dont know about how to properly ground yourself when working with ESD sensitive items, that's probably what happened. Or it could of been ESD built into something metal such as a screwdriver and you touched the wrong spot on the mobo creating an arc of electricity and short circuiting it that way.
EDIT:
Swapping batteries from the motherboard's wont help either. All that battery does is keep your PSP's settings while it's off

omg.. why bother to buy a motherboard on ebay especially a non-bnew, non-working one? guess it was just unlucky for you. you should have ordered a mobo from sony itself or if you prefer it on e-bay, just simply buy a cheap working psp. don't worry, we all learn from them..
