VOB's always 14 minutes

I've been converting avi's for weeks using WinAVI with no problem at all. All of a sudden every video I convert to DVD format now ends up being 3 separate vob's of 14 minutes a piece. So basically I'm missing chunks of the movie. It always just made 1 VOB file too previously before I had the problem. I've tried a few different vids and always the same result so it's not one specific AVI file. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks all!

Can you put out your settings when convert to DVD?
And check the VOB file's size.
