No Blue Light On PS2

Hi..ive had my ps2 for a couple of years now..its a V4 and about a year or more ago i installed a magic chip in it..it worked fine..and yesterday i was playing hitman:blood money and it just kinda froze so i restarted the system but this time..i only got the red light to turn on..i push it and it turns green but i get nothing from the blue light..i read some other threads about maybe a blown fuse but i really dont know where any of these fuses are located or anything ..so maybe its a diffrent problem or something..if anyone could help i would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Will the tray also not eject? Does anything appear on your TV screen now or do you just have a black screen?

yeah i dont get anything i just get a black screen tray dosent eject or anything..

I hate to say it but it sounds like your BA chip may have blown. The BA chip is the chip that drives your laser as well and the tray. Normally when it blown fuse PS11 blows too and pin 8 of the BA is shorted to ground.

The BA chip can be replaced but its not an easy task.

hmm..is there any tutorial or something i can read that shows me how to replace it??..if it seems to complicated then i can just get someone to fix it for me :) ...is there any extra parts i would have to buy?
