Where might i find cracks for games that make them playable using the hard drive mod? any sites or personal info is greatly appreciated.

Are you sure? cuz some games (EX: Dot Hack series, which works until you try to go to the world) won't work when you burn them to the hard drive. my friend told me i could find answers here

You are correct, there are cracks for a very few games that will help when playing them from an HDD. http://www.ps2hd.com used to have a list of them if I remember right, but I think after there site got hacked they removed this as well as other crap.
