Hi I have just purchased swap magic ver. 3.6 and the slim tools ver. 3 for my v15b slimline PStwo. The problem is since recieving my software I had made a backup of my Bully game on DVD-R media and booted that in my ps2 with the dvd driver and it worked without a hitch. Next I moved on and tried to make a backup of Tekken 4 on a cd-r and use the cd driver disc to boot it up and as soon as the game successfully boots the screen keeps flickering (like scrolling from the top to the bottom and over). So I thought this may have been a media or image issue so I tried different blank media and a different backup and i got the exact same screen scrolling result and was wondering if any has experienced this or has any suggestion on the current problem at hand. That sounds like a pal/ntsc conflict. If your swap magic 3.6 is the same as mine there should be an option to boot as PAL or as NTSC. Try this to see if it solves the problem. If that option is not there there are faqs dealing with patching from one to the other I believe. Of course if you try booting both ways and still have problems it is likely something I know nothing about.

yes i had tried from boot from normal to PAL and also NTSC but same result with all!

tekken 4 is a DVD game not a CD game

ok I have tried a cd backup of star wars racers and that booted without a problem but I had switched TVs on this test so I figured I'd try the other two titles that booted but had the screen flickering problem and they booted no problem and no flicker so I have figured it was a problem with the TV i was using. Thanks for everyones suggestions/comments its people like you that help make the scene great and what it is today =p
