Need help playing roms on cfw 3.03 oe-c

I got the emulators to show on my menu but where do i put the roms and what file type should it be I am trying to run snes9x and my rom files used to run as .smc files on the snes9x for pc???

emulators are emulators on every platform, so ya, pc snes roms work on psp snes. oh and did you read the readme btw?
