First off...
Let me say thank you in advance to anyone who decides to help me on this...
I got my PSP recently so I'm still learning the ropes...
The problem is...
I have:
NBA BALLERS REBOUND and
WORLD SERIES OF POKER 2007
iso's ad they both refuse to load through:
UMD EMULATOR - (AND FASTLOADER)
DAXZISO
Does anybody know how I can power these two games on my PSP...
(The problem with Ballers is that it loads to the 1st screen and hangs)
Any help will be greatly appreciated...

I already have mate...
The thing is I'm running 1.5 firmware...(maybe I'm a prick but I don't wanna change)
I've done searches and searches...believe me....

UMD Emulator and Fastloader are both obsolete for loading ISO's as the can only load older ones. If devhook didn't work it was 90 percent chance the settings were mucked up. There is also using OE custom firmware, except with CF there is no devhook or loaders, U can load ISO's direct from XMB.

Hey dude, I can honestly say that helped me...
I'm thinking of downloading the winstaller on your sig but I'm kinda scared coz I just got my PSP recently and I adore it!
I used the latest devhook and emulated 2.00...

Emulating 2.00 is not going to help with any but the oldest games. You need to use a later version of devhook, or you should bite the bullet and install custom firmware. Just make sure yuo follow all the relvant instructions.

do u mean 3.00? anyhow the CF install is pretty install. Dark AleX knows his shit VERY WELL. I have upgraded to this and downgraded, well I lost count now. I gotta test my winstaller's somewhere :D Anyhow I think you would be much happier with it too. It's easier to use then devhook, IMO there is just a ton more options. And the learning curve on it is minimal at most.

Oh and btw....does this fw play CSO files and DAX files?
And does my battery have to be atleast 75% full?
And does my PSP have to be on charge?

Yes it has to be 75 percent full. Doesn't have to be charging, although having the charger in never hurts. It can play ISO/CSO files, but not .dax, but I could be wrong, I don't watch .dax related threads/downloads that often. And my earlier post I said pretty install, yeah it's pretty, but i meant pretty easy. you prolly picked that up but i thought i would clarify

HAHA....yeah I understood it dude...
Well I'm waiting for my PSP to charge to full now so that I can run this...
So how do I play dax on this firmware then? Can I still use 'daxziso' for that coz then I'm really really sorted...

Yes I believe u can still run daxziso loader under custom firmware, it can run 1.50 formatted HB. Anyhow you might want look into downloading PSP ISo compress or something of the sort and converting back to CSO/ISO file format. I know it would be a pain but atleast with those image formats you wont have to have any special loader's to load ur backups.

dark alex firmware is def the best around. also, get a program called x flash, and you can change ur psp to be unique. if ya want.

that only works on 3.02 OE-B and below. There is now a plethora of PC utilities out there that help you with making your own custom files. And being able to access flash0/flash1 over USB makes it very easy. If u notice my sig it's all stuff I have made myself.

OK, well I got Ballers to work using the newest devhook emulating 2.71...(just wanted to see that the game actually works)...
But I'm still gonna use the Winstaller to install the new fw coz it seems interesting...
(I mean this in the most non-gay way possible)...I LOVE YOU GUYS!

What version of DevHook do you rely to as latest version? I know that latest version emulates firmware 3.03, not 2.71. Number is 0.52.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

3.10 OE-A2 is the newst but some people dont like it. check my winstaller thread on how to install it.

Dude, use hexitnow's winstaller for 3.03OE-C...
Man that shit is good...
Or you could get the devhook ultimate installer from psphacks which will let you emulate pretty much any game...
The 'latest' devhook that I did use emulated up to firmware 2.71...not 3.03...
