Hello
I recently started having problems with DVD Decrypter. I can successfully rip the dvd using any dvd and DVD Shrink. When I go to use DVD Decrypter it like buffers out or give me that I/O Error. But its not consistent. I was trying to back up The Departed to a dvd and DVD Decrypter wouldnt work. I tried the process with decrypter like 5 times than it suddenly worked. What is going on? Any one else running into this.
There are a number of things that can cause the write errors you're describing. e.g., out of date firmware, poor quality media, and burning too fast. If you have one of the DVD D logs, you might post that back here to help people diagnose. As Shardel suggested, trying ImgBurn is also a possibility. ImgBurn was written by the same person who wrote DVD D.

Here's one option you might want to try on newer movies. I have heard some people having problems with DvdShrink and AnyDVD working together, so try this on your next one.
Since you have AnyDVD, DVD Decrypter and DvdShrink, next time rip the movie with DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD in the background. After you rip, run the entire rip through FixVTS.
Once DVDFab is done ripping, "OPEN FILES" via DVD Shrink and continue. If for some reason DVD Shrink is choking (can not continue), then you'll need to "process and clean" your already ripped files (VOB, VTS) through FixVTS or (VIDEO_TS.IFO) through VobBlanker.
