Hi,

Can someone please help me. I have a Plextor TV-402U ConvertX device. I have installed the drivers onto XP and the device installs fine. However when I try to use the device with WinDVR 5 (The capture software that came with it), I cannot get it to work. The only way I can capture any video with this device is if I use either Plextools LE or Plextor GoCap. For some reason, the intervideo WinDVR 5 software that I received with the device will not record or display video through the Plextor onto my screen.

I have downloaded all of the updates for WinDVR 5 and installed them in the proper order. I also tried uninstalling, cleaning the registry and reinstalling the software. However for some reason it still will not work. The software worked fine when I purchased this unit, however after reinstalling windows XP no matter what I do it will not work. I have also tried reformatting and installing XP again, but with the same results.

If someone could help me I would really appreciate it!
