I'm using a fat PS2 v7 with swap magic 3.6 and flip top.
I tried burning an iso of Okami using DVD Decryptor with the ASPI interface (dled off Nero website) and booktyping to DVD-ROM
I'm using a 16x Verbatim DVD+R disc. The burner is a NEC ND-2500A (pretty old).

What's happens is that movies freeze and skip, sometimes music doesn't play. Gameplay seems to work fine for now. I had previously burned perfect copies of FF12 and Shadow of the Collosous. Could my old dvd burner be the problem? Thanks for the help.

Try 8x DVD-R i burned mine on 16x and it did the same

Btw, I burned at 4x. I have heard of 8x being better than 16x but is the difference usually that noticable?
