Hi,

I tivoed the grammy's the other night and then I transferred the .tivo file to my cpu and when using the direct show dump program to convert the .tivo file to .mpeg, I got an error saying "An error has occured". The .mpeg file that was created was about 30 mins short of the complete show. Has anyone ever gotten this error before??

By now, maybe, you have figured out what is probably the cause of the error.

While attempting to transform my Tivo recording of the Super Bowl, I got the "unknown error" message at about the 35% point after 2 tries.

I finally checked the space left on the drive and it was only a few mb.

After making space by deleting files, the process is now past the 70% mark as I type.

If I don't edit or post again, then that was the problem.
