Run idstoragechange on which PSP's?

Hi there,
I was just wondering if you need to run the idstoragechange prog before downgrading on every psp or just certain versions?

Ive just modded my 2.71 ta to 3.10 OEa2 and it all went smothly... but now everybody wants some... Is it the same procedure for all PSP's before 3.xx???

If you are downgrading your psp there will be a manual that comes with it and it will tell you each step. BUT I believe the only psp's that need to use idestoragechange is the psp that has a TA-082 motherboard. BUT please read the READ ME file that comes with the downgrader. :)
