Nokia 6010 - Locked or Unlocked

How do I know if my Nokia 6010 is locked or unlocked. I don't have access to different carrier sims to test. I do have the original box and there is no carrier identified on the box. Very generic.

Without another carriers sim card you can not really test that i know of. However... nearly all carriers lock their phones so i say there is a 99% chance that it is locked if you bought it new.

If this happens, you would more than likely have to get your phone unlocked by a third-party.

That's what I figured. Thank you for the response. Think I am going to give Nokia a call and see what they say. Maybe they can tell from the IMEI number or something on the phone. In the end I want to Unlock it. I downloaded a program to generate unlock codes, put in 2 so far with no luck. Got 3 silver bullets left.
My gut says it's an AT+T phone.

make sure you use the codes for the asic 2 and v2 codes cyberGSM 5.4
