hi i was just wondering how i could play AVI files on my 3.03 oe-b psp, which program do i need and where can i find it? thanks in advance.

There's a homebrew program called "PSP Player MT" or something, that allows you to play AVI files and some other formats. I have no idea why no one has tried to develop it more. I think you can find it on pspupdates.

ye i found it thanks, though it still cant play it up , the psp just crashes when i try to start the movie up i dont know why. I can play it up on my pc though

First do make these files. After opening the Removable Disk (G:) make file MP_ROOT. Then in that file make 100MNV01. Put MP4 files in there.
Yeah PSP only plays .MP4 format. Just Google 3Gp Converter and download it. Then select the PSP MP4 convertion format and just select the location. Finally drag the files into the open 3GP program and it will convert it.

it also plays avc but he doesnt even need an mp root he can just make a video folder in the root. you can use pspvideo9 to convert to mp4s but he can also use psp action replay to either convert to mp4 or avc
For a While i have escaped time but to return when they need you most to come back on a vendetta like a have thats just simply MAGIC!

Are you people stupid? The PSP can play avi's, didn't you read what I said? If you're not so lazy just d/l the player and see for yourself.

much better with all the movies and sound lol ;)
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology..

yh i use this player aswell. its an ok app. it freezes in middle of film.
The worriors is kind of lame. i dnt liek it. if only we could ride cars and do some other stuff. and the fighting is too long. but my lil bro LOVES it. lol
