I was just noticing some senior members beeing suspended permanently like Brobear, Andmerr and a few others I can't remember right now. Anyway I know I was away for a little while and was wondering what I missed here? Did they do something wrong? I hope not.... Hmmmmmmmm

for the most part, the big name members tend to leave over fights with each other more than newbie stupidity, from my observed experiences.

Yeah I saw that, but that thread seemed to vear off course quite a bit and I am not sure what's considered an old timer anyway? I have been around here for almost three years does that count? :-)

Well I have actually been around here since 2004 but probably spent the better part of a year before that just lurking :-)
Anyway back to the thread topic. If someone leaves they don't usually get suspended so I was just curious what happended to these guys I guess, and wondered if anyone knew? I did a search for there names but can't seem to find anything relevant to there being suspended?

mostly, they asked for their accounts to be closed. this all pretty much happened before the system that we now, which notes accounts closed to do the request of the member. so, they're just marked "suspended permanently."

never had huskies. had skunks, bunnies (newest one you see now), wolves, etc. lol, i think you must mean wolves. ^.~
most of my sigs are still on my profile page. i'm simply rotating them around. they'll all be back on at some point.

Brobear was an addict at the time he got booted. At that time,I didn't know that a mod couldn't suspend an addict,only an administrator had that authority at that time.It may be different now that they can dole out 10 day suspensions.
I couldn't locate the thread,but darthnip was involved with it.The main reason was the loads of mis information brobear was giving out in the game console forums.
Andmerr: Burned out? He asked to be permanently suspended? A few other top members also asked to be terminated.
I haven't heard from arniebear in ages.

i may be wrong but i believe that most of the posts and thread concerning the brobear thing was either hidden or deleted (it got way out of hand and wouldn't die)
as to andmerr, he just got very tired of the whole thing and took a long holiday from all the forums he was involved with, he's lurking around though.

i think it is easy for people to swear on this site because no one is gonna beat u up. personally i have been on this site for 2 years and recently had heart problems so it was like i had nothing 2 do and wanted to pick fights now i work out and on the weekends i started a DIRTY fight club with school friends! so this site is not what i do with my time so i don't wanna pick fights on a website how lame. but for everyone else either they are sick of newbies something is wrong with their sig or they need to release some steam
