Please help me make sure i'm doing the right thing....

I have 2.50 psp.

Am i right (after spending days reading threads!!) if i..

a) use the 2.50/2.60 downgrader to 1.50

b) then go to 3.02oe (I am using this on my own psp and already have a super duper wizard to do it all for me)

I just want to be able to play umd's, back ups and use the browser.

I would just like to thank anyone from the bottom of my heart for helping... when these people say they are noobs i must be a super mega noob!!
