Watch movies on your PSP from your memory stick.

There are many questions and problems concerning how to watch PSP movies on your PSP so to solve all those problems, I decided to make a helpful guide (it is tested and working)!
Requirements:
1) A PSP, of course
2) A memory stick with enough space, depending on the movie or video size
3) A USB cable to connect your PSP to your computer
4) The movie or video saved on your computer
Instructions:
1) Get the MPEG-4 movie ready. If it isn't in MPEG-4 format, then convert it to MPEG-4. To do that, you can use PSP Video 9 from http://www.pspvideo9.com. After you've finished converting, you will get two files: the MPEG-4 file (which is the movie) and the .THM file (which you don't need but keep it just in case).
2) Connect your PSP via USB to your computer. In the root of your memory stick, create a folder in CAPS called "VIDEO".
3) Go to the output folder where the new and converted movie file is and copy the MPEG-4 file ONLY in the "VIDEO" folder.
4) Disconnect the USB and in your PSP, in "Video", you'll see the movie. Just select it and it will play!

Umm what's the point of this thread?
There's TONS of guides on how to get video files onto your PSP, and I think even the most noob users have a fair idea of how to do it.
Now it's even easier on firmware 2.81 and above you just stick it into the video folder, piece of cake.
Btw, of course you can play video files without the .THM file, it's just a thumbnail, it doesn't make any difference.

I was just trying to help. You know, at least I'm trying and what the heck are you doing: critisizing! So leave me alone because I've seen many questions concerning the subject! I wrote this guide and I don't deserve you to rub whatever in my face!

i agree!!!!guys its really a small matter and attias tried to help so u should be mad at him like this and also i dont say Amir is wrong abt his word but u r too rude on him!!!!yer Amir it would have been better to say or suggest him wat else he could ahve done insted of the simple guide!!anyways cool down and lets talk some thing good!!!!!!

thx junkdude but i would like to be helpful in this site. give me any reason on what i should make a guide because in this site every1 helped me and saved me with my psp so i would like to help the others too. i think its bad just leaving the site without doing nothing. plz give me a subject.

tht good then try not to make a quide untill its very important(try to verify the guide u r makin is needed or not by searching)!!
the better thing u can do now is go to the new threads made by others(esp. newbies) who need help and point them out their problem and solve it without being rude anyways(even if its very annoying) thts wat i try to do!!!!!!so go and help like wat i said and it will be very help full to new ppl over here!!!goodluck!!!!!!

watup guys.
I try to play videos on my psp, i use psp video 9, but the data is always corrupt. I tried using other converters. I have cfw 3.03oe-c.
will saving the video in video folder or 101mnv01 foldre have a difference.
Doe anyone know what i can do to fix this.

Well there are two ways:
1) Follow the guide I made (it's putting the MPEG-4 in the "VIDEO" folder in the root of your memory stick).
2) Make a folder in the root of your memory stick called "MS_ROOT" and a folder in it called "101MNV01" and put the MPEG-4 AND the .THM file in there.
NOTE 1: In number 1, you don't need the .THM file.
NOTE 2: You will get the .THM file after you convert the movie ONLY if you convert the movie with a progran like 3GP Converter (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/470702 and choose the second one) or PSP Video 9 (http://www.pspvideo9.com).
