save data folder?

i formatted my ms and kept the save data folder thinking it would save my game progress and transferred the save data folder onto the formatted psp , but when i try to play a game its not showing my saved progress, i thought thats what the save data folder does , unless im wrong , did i do sumthing wrong to access save game data , sorry if this is in wrong section forum

You sure you put the SAVEDATA folder in the correct path? Please check if that folder is inside the PSP folder in the MS root.
Something like this X:\PSP\SAVEDATA (Where x is your PSPs drive letter). Hope that helps.
