If the RIAA does ever get the permission it needs and the legal clout to arrest file sharers there would be a very simple way to stop them.

Currently the American legal system (as well as the English and canadian legal systems) are running at full capacity, it would take an increase of less than 5% to paralyse the whole thing. if enough people were to report to their local police station and admit to illegal file sharing, the cops would have no choice but to start processing your information and pass it on to the RIAA, and very soon the paperwork and manpower required would paralyse the entire system and they would be forced to stop action against everyone!

No offense but u sound like an RIAA guy in desguide! Thats not gonna happen anyway that people will call and admit illegal file sharing and even if they did, the RIAA wouldnt get their details! The RIAA arent the law remember!
