GOT SAMSUNG DRIVE CAN I SWAP FOR HITACHI

i have modded 3 360's and it's all good. Problem: my buddy got a 360 with a samsung and i don't have a sata port, so i looked around and found a hitachi drive for about 50 bucks. Question: can i get the hitachi drive and install it so i can mod it after that? Any help i can get would be great.

you can but you need to get the key off the samsung drive and insert it into the firmware of the hitachi drive otherwise you cannot use it..

i would buy a PC card with an SATA port before i swapped out the best drive they have in a 360 (the Samsung) with something else.
The Samsung Extreme52 firmware is better than any other out there.
auto stealth patching, no need to booktype to DVD rom

If i were your friend i would shoot you if you took my sammy out.
No offense intended. I fought hard just to get a Samsung drive.
