HELP! SS Merger broke

Well I have been having trouble with SS merger 1.7b all day today and hoping someone here knows the answer.

Trying to backup my origional Crackdown game, used XBC did the unlock drive twice and current partition and got the .iso file. Preceeded to get the SS PFI and DMI files.

Open up SS Merger, choose the iso, say no to check online, unclick "Create a NME Compatible ISO" box, click "Pad with blank" box and leave everything else as it started, add video clicked, apply imgburn cobramb1 fix clicked, apply xbox360 disk label (IMGBurn fix 2) clicked, and insert iso unclicked.

So far I have done everything as walkthroughs have stated.

I hit Merge and Create Layer Break File button, and it freezes on me with the hourglass up for forever. Waited over an hour before and still up, click my mouse once and the error comes up the program is not responding.

Its broke, someone fix it PLEASE! any help is appriciated.
