hi,
i recently upgraded to 8mb broadband with pipex homecall. which i received a adsl modem with. i have one telephone socket in my home and my computer is a floor up. so i use a 20 meter extension wire connecting from the telephone socket right to my modem in my room. i was advised i will not receive max speed with this extension wire and was told to buy a wireless router. i have bought a 54mb netgear wireless router. but am having problems setting it up wireless. as the computer is upstairs as with the adsl modem i cannot connect my computer and the router.

can someone help plz!!!!!
