My psp is semi bricked, this is diffrent from other people

okii i had the 1.5 after i downgraded.
than i was running devhook 0.51
i read about the ultimate black xmb menue and decided to change mine.
i did everything right... than i flashed the new xmb. when i restarted the psp , it would load the sony entertanment than it would stop there.
when i go into the recouvery cousle, all i have are these options:
hold L and press triangle to activate usb
hold l and press square to spoof as version 1.00
hold l and press circle to excute update
hold l+r and press start to auto-format, spoof + update
when i try to spoof nothing happens( and i have no idea what that does )
when i try to excute update ... it says updating than quickly shuts off back to groud zero
when i select the last one it does the same thing it just says updating and shuts off ??
please someone help me, i have tried many things... but some of them say to choose the advanced option in the recovery counsle which i don't have.

i semi bricked mines aswell but i was on 3.03 oe-c so i went to advance then toggle flash0 to enable and corrected my mistake which was i didnt rename my wave. i have no idea what to do on 1.5 tho try posting in the Mod Corner thread, bunch of people of which someone im sure can help are there

hey, can you NOT post it everywhere? keep in in your thread! most people here have OE so not many know how to fix 1.5 custom firmware psps.

it is not a custom firmware, i downgraded to 1.50 and than i tried to flash this file system_plugin_bg.rco while i was flashing i choose many diffrent rco files, it said flash successfull and everything than this happend

if u can get to recovery then recover 1.5. if u cant access recovery console time for a new motherboard/psp

u can use the third option to reinstall the firmware......execute update.....use google to find out how to use it, it's easy info, or u can even read the readme for the firmware it should talk about it.

when i use that option it says initiating update than it quickly restarts the psp, this time the sony entertamen doesn't come uo nothing does and it turns off after 30 seconds

thats because the update isnt on the psp....there has to be something there for it to execute

i have a feeling you havent like i said use googlle/readme and the 1.5 update....you have had to of installed an update on ur psp atleast once....and if u havent read the instruction manual. were not here to wipe ur ass.
