I was trying to backup my NBA-Street Homecourt game and I get an error that it is unable to determine the current visible partition. I am using xbox Backup Creator. Why is this?

I tried this procedure but I can't extra the SS or PFI file.
My solution was using XBC, clik on the Unlock Drive button a couple of times, then extract the current partition instead of the whole disk using XBC. Then extract the SS, PFI and DMI to the same directory (again with XBC). Merge it all together using SS Merger 1.7b. I then burnt it with XBC. My Legacy backup copy seems to work so far. By Balinor

I got the iso files and .BIN files for the SS, PFI and DMI, but when I go to run merge I get an error the .iso file exceeds the size. I can't merge these files.

Read the problems with crackdown thread all the way through every single post and you should find out what is wrong. I had trouble with crackdown for a while so I went through and posted every little thing you have to do, what boxes you have to have checked on SS Merger 1.7b and all those things, then found out my problem was my .net framework 2 was broken and needed to be repaired.

No I am not getting the same error you were getting, if you read the post about crackdown like I suggested, you would know exactly the error I was getting. Go read the post man go read the WHOLE thread.

Do i get the .bin files from the drive tools tab of XBC, because when i choose image tools it tells me that its "unable to automatically determine image type" "operation failed". If not, can someone send me the .bin files for Homecourt?

Just use the new update for xbox backup creator. it does it all for you. I hated the merger 1.7b method. No thinking involve with the new XBC.
