starview frozen?

Hi all,
Was happy the other day when the advice from fekker got me up an running with the starview.
Now my son has went and mucked about with it.
When you exit everything, it leaves you stuck on the language screen.
Anyone know how to get out of this?.
I can't even get into parental control?

The Starview master code is 1668, reset the code to your own choice, factory reset and all should be fine.

cheers m8,
When I press 1668, I get
Test processing E2PROM TEST OKAY
Front key test.....
1.Serial Test........ SEND
2.Tv Format.......... 4:3
3.Video output....... CVBS
Then don't know what to do after that.
Locked out off parental control and Channel edit
When I go to hidden menu 1570
I put emu on
press nagravision, select tw, exit
go to default key
saves then exit and I end up back at language.
Still frozen

STOP THE PRESS!
My sons says sorry dad" I spilt a glass of coke and some went on your box"
I guess that won't help.
I'll try and open it tomorrow, but looks like it'll be a new box.

I'd unplug it before it bursts into flames, any spillage that is init noe (especially Cola) will now be shorting out the connections and is a fire hazzard.

hi on my starview some channels like disney,nicklodeon have stopped comming it says scrambled channels,please help

I had the same problem yesterday and to resolve it I had to do a master reset and then rescan and everything was hunky dory.

GARY thankyou very much ,after factory setting,do u have to programe it via the computer before u can scan,or after factory setting you do automatic scan direct,i am not sure,please advise me,sorry to bother u.thanks mate

once you have done a reset just do automatic scan put in the magic code and that should be it.
