I have read so many articles but couldn't figure out what i need to do to get my psp works... any help is greatly appreciated !!!

I have PSP Version 1.50. I'd like to backup my psp games from UMD disc to memory card and run from it.

Could any1 post the steps of how to setup and the software required ?

personally id unpgrade to a custom firmware. im using 3.03oe-c. its just like 1.5 but you can play games straight from the ms. including psx games.
there are loads of tuts on how to get this.

well to backup UMD games you need a UMD "dumper" for simplicity i would use Fastloader (search for it as i dont have a link at the moment sorry ) but if you want to backup your games straight to your PC instead of taking up space on your memory card use UMDDAXDUMPER thers a tutorial in my sig :D

and then like DJ said upgrade to custom firmware to play your backups

there is an easier way to dump straight to PC, USBSSS, u can mount ur UMD drive as a removable disk over usb (like u do with the PSP), and all you have to do is copy and paste. Simplicity at it's utmost finest.
