ok so i'm a former kazaa user. i had to get rid of it because it was slowing everything down and i was stuff was showing up that i never downloaded.
i saw all the good and bad things people had to say about emule and all the other ones, but how do i know which one is best for my computer and for me? i'm computer-retarded and all the stuff i read in the emule tutorial seems complicated.
i'm also wondering about movie DLs. they always turn up widescreen with the black bars on the top and bottom and really fuzzy. should i use something different for movies than for music?
any help is good help!

1. Most movie downloads are widescreen or widescreen-ish so you will see the black horizontal bars

2. Well if eMule seems a tad too icky for you, might you consider Overnet? It runs off same eDonkey network (same as eDonkey and eMule). The main differences with Onet are that are
- There are no servers to managae and connect to
- There is no irc client
- No mods (not that you really need them)
All in all, i find that Onet is much easier to get up and running.
