i used to be able to rip a movie in 15 min, a 5 min shrink, and a 10 min burn and and a 7 min verify
now its taking 40 min rip, 20 min shrink, and a 30 min burn and a 30 min verify


whats wrong

Sounds like a DMA issue...here is a guide.

thanks it is working a little bit faster but not as fast as it was but better

now here is a question

i had 3 primarys
and 3 secondarys

but i could only restart 1 primary and 1 secondary

wait i uninstall them all but the other 4 didnt say ultra 5 dma in current transfer

thanks for real i just started to burn its back at normal speed i was basing on shrink but it was only burning at 1.2 max and now its burning at 10x

Just to let u know for future reference that a good rule for burning speed is half what the top rated speed of the disks are.
Thats with top notch media, if u dont use great media i would suggest burning at 4x.

Good point 300bowler, but I have found that I actually get just as good, if not better, burns when burning at the rated speed of the media. That is of course using quality burners with current firmware and quality media. That is a good rule of thumb if the quality is suffering though.
