is it possible to convert bin/cue files to AVI?
i can burn off AVI files with sonic, so was wondering if you can convert bin/cue, kvcd, scd ect to AVI?, if so what sort of converter would you suggest? ( a freeware would be nice lol)

You are referring to cd image files (video)?
There are a couple of free tools available that are quite capable and not hard to figure.
Prog which you can use to convert the bin/cue files to mpeg:

Bonus Note:you can also use this prog to convert mpeg to bin/cue files (cd images).
People always seem to forget the easiest way to rip bin/cue.. Use this program or that.. no need.....
Mount the bin/cue pair on a virtual drive (Nero and alcohol120 both have them, and then rip it just like a physical disk. I use dvd::rip, but any dvd-AVI application will do.
^^ Not at all.. I just look at what people will probably already have and try to use existing facilities rather than getting more and more unnecessary applications and clutter. Mounting the image as a disk also has the advantage of allowing the ripping of a full 1-1 copy with all audio channels/subtitles/menus/extras intact by using all the latest applications. All a matter of personal taste, just happens to be the way I do it as linux is a little short to say the least of dvd ripping tools. I think my aversion to collecting clutter stems from being a *nix user
i have just converted a bin file to dvd using Nero vision 4.this is the way i did it.go to make dvd,dvd video,add video files,opened the film folder i wanted to convert,in the same window i went to "files of type" selected "all files (**)". then i opened the bin file.then carry on to burn

VCDGear is by far the easiest way to extract the mpegs and will also fix various mpeg errors. Loading virtual drives, ripping, renaming DAT files... pain in the neck.
