hi i am using this spoofing tut off ps3news. below..

anyways my ps3 fw right now is 1.51 so i am trying this method and it does not work i downloaded everthing i need but what i dont under stand is the part where he says "after you get both those installed you need to replace the etter.dns with the one from ps3news" how do i get to the etter.dns? any one know please please i really need help on this thanks in advance

First download ettercap for windows from here

I used ettercap-NG-0.7.2-win32.exe

Afterwards you install that you will need to download winpcap from ( http://www.winpcap.org/install/bin/WinPcap_4_0.exe )

after you get both those installed you need to replace the etter.dns with the one from ps3news

Now run ettercap
choose the tab that says sniff --> unified Sniffing
choose your network adapter and press ok

next go to the tab that says plugin -->manage plugins
select dns_spoofing (should be third on the list)

then under tab that says start
select start sniffing

then under hosts tab
scan for hosts

lastly go to Mitm --> Arp poisoining
Select one way poisoning

and you are set.

Works for me using windows xp with a laptop.
