i recently semi-bricked my psp. i have tried running the firmware 1.5 again but my psp just turns off with a black screen. i have also tried hexitnow,s weinstaller recovery and i end up with the same results. my psp is firmware 1.5 poc. someone please help. could I be getting these black screens because i disabled the update option with x-flash. please help.

it freezes at the opening screen when the words sony computer entertainment come on. i can still get in to the recovery mode.

alright...first question....what the hell is "poc" perhaps a little more elaboration is in order, yes?

if you are running "OE-C" then I can help you....

With Hex's Winstaller, choose the option to go back to OE-C....instead of 1.5>>

then get a fresh dark alex OE-C fw update maker & flasher, 303.pbp & 150.pbp from dl.qj.net.....

then run Hex's Winstaller again...


Sometimes a fresh Recovery along with a fresh update file may do the trick, lord know's ive semi brick'd this thing many-a-time trying to customize it...

poc is proof of concept firmware :0),as for recovery i dunno as i neva used it,didnt it come with a readme telling you how to use recovery?
