EUROVOX MAX CHANNEL SOUND MISSING!

I have a Eurovox Max which I have had for around 5 months. It came in a blue box. I have had no problems with it but I have just lost the sound on a channel and ithas been like that for a couple of days since i re-scanned it.
Can anyone offer me any advice on a solution?
Do I need somesort of bin file ?
Help will be very much appreciated.
