Iam trying to chose between a V7 console in very good condition or a V12/13/14 refurb unit,both have the matrix infinity chip installed.
Which would be the best??

both are good actually because they can both read DVD+R and DVD-R.now its just a preference of big and solid or small and weak.i would get the fat one because no over heat problems in the future.

It all depends on weather u want to play of a HD or not. If you dont i would go for the slimline every time. They boot a lot faster and are cheaper to fix when the laser brakes.
