HDLoader question..

I have an HDLoader and noticed that Jak 3 and God of War dont rip properly. If I were to rip the ISO's then patch them as I've read, would I be able to burn the ISO onto a disc then rip it via HDLoader? Or is that not possible? Thanks in advance!
