Hello, first time poster here.

I decided to get a mod chip because I found out I could play custom Guitar Hero songs. I've never soldered anything before but everything is going swimmingly according to the multimeter (I'm using a Duo 3 Gold chip and have all of the BIOS wires and couple other ones done so far).

So I decided to do the Romeo mod next and I thought I did it fine but I wasn't sure which pin it was on in the picture. So I did it on the 4th one up. Of course being dumb I decided to look to make sure it was that pin by searching on this forum AFTERWARD and saw that I went one pin too far.

Am I screwed now? Or can I solder that pin back to the board and lift the other pin and just switch the wire?

oh yes

Finished the mod today. I just put the wrong pin back down and then soldered the wire to the correct pin. Everything works great :)

oh yes
