halo

i have a small question to ask so plzz do answer...
i have slayers cd...
i just don't no what my hdd is (upgraded or retail)and how to find that out.when i bought my xbox ...the ppl told me it had a 12gb hdd ...tats it...

i could install avalaunch on to my xbox since it could install on any hdd

but i could not install evox or any other dash ...cause it said they required an upgraded or retail hdd...i dont understand wat that means

so plzz any help on how to fix out the problem

and another doubt ...whats the deal about locking and unlocking the hdd???

and could anyone provide a picture tutorial on how to upgrade my hdd on a hardmodded xbox
