QSI-161 Combo Drive

I have a Fuji Amilo Laptop with a QSI-161 DVD/CDRW drive. The drive works fine for reading and writing CDR's but will not write CDRW's.

If using Nero or Clone Cd it will say it's writing to the CDRW and then tell you it is complete and 100% written, close the disc and eject it. However if you look at the CDRW then it is completely blank. It is more than a little annoying.

Any Ideas?
