I read that in order to get MGA2 to run you need to replace the prxs with decrypted versions. Here is what I did

1 - used WinRAR to open the iso that I dumped from the UMD
2 - used prx decryter to decrypt all the prx files.
3 - Replaced the old prx files
4 - Dragged the PSP_GAME folder and UMD_DATA.BIN into the UMDGEN 4.0 windows that says 'no items to show'
5 - Saved the iso and moved it to the psp under the ms0:\ISO folder

The game shows up and the music plays from the XMB. After selecting it, a black screen shows and the psp reads the memory stick and that's it. It just freezes.

Am I doing this wrong or is it a 3.10 oe related problem?

try changing the cpu speed and try enable no umd. might fix it like it did ratchet and clanks

Thanks for the help. I tried changing the speed and enabling no und. I do have a umd in there though.

Do I need to specify any settings when I re-make the iso using umdgen? Settings like name, or boot.bin path, or is it just a matter of dragging the one folder and .bin file?
