4gb memory stick trouble!! HELP!!

I have just bought a sony 4gb stick for my iso's on my psp v 3.10oe but now when i load up most games they dont run smoothly at all, fifa 07 stops and starts so does the warriors and chilli con carnidge, and others!...y isit doing this, i have formatted my stick but still chooses to piss me off!!....please help sum1 as i am always on my psp playing iso's and now im stuck!

Format the stick with windows to FAT 16 and leave the allocaion size to what it defaults at. Pop it in the psp and hey presto

But i had a 2gb b4 and it was fine with all my iso's, and do i change the FAT32 to FAT16 cus it only gives me FAT32 as 1 choice.
and i dont spose any1 nose if the warriors ps2 needs to be rebuilt?

I popped the card into my card reader and right clicked and format, gave me the option and it sped my games up no end !
