Can I retireve my old PSO character?

I have searched every forum I can think of and have found nothing about this. I want to be able to take my high level PSO character off of my buddie's XBOX and put it over on mine. is there any way to do this...I have transfered it over to a memory card but when I access that and move the files to my XBOX my character still isn't available. if anyone has a link or any information at all regarding this thanks in advance for your help.
