What is a GI file?

I DL a GI file and burned it with DVD Decrypter and it didn't work. Does this need coverted to ISO or is there a special program that I need to use for this?

.gi = global image. Its an old image format used by RecordNow Max, which hardly anyone uses.
Use either IsoBuster or UltraISO to convert it to a UDF iso.
