Problems with MiniDVD-playback

Hello there,
In dark scenes during playback of MiniDVDs
the framerate gets down to about 4-5 fps. In brighter scenes it's running perfectly.
Programs: PowerDVD 4 XP, Zoomplayer 3.0
Tsunami Codec Pack installed.

Any help?!?
