installing Snes emulator for xbox

Hello I have downloaded the snes emulator for the xbox however I have roms already stored on my computer. the question is do I need to find specific xbox snes roms or can i just put the ones i have in my xbox? Any response is greatly appreciated.

P.S. If anyone can give the step by step directions on how to install the program that would be a great help!!

Roms are roms are roms.. image files of the games etc..

They will go in a folder inside the emulator folder, there is usually a text file called "put roms here"..on the xbox snes emulator look in the media folder.
